With a lifetime fascination with all things Space, from both an academic and business perspective, Nic holds a PhD in Astrophysics along with an LLM in Space Law.
Nic has deep experience at the research-policy-industry interface having over 20 years experience in R\&D as well as having worked in marketing, consultancy and the space regulation sector.
As an astrophysicist, Nic's research highlights include working on the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) as well as being a pioneer for the early observations carried out by the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). Nic's research led to the discovery of a new type of quasar which has been described as ``the missing link'' in galaxy/AGN evolution.
